She is Asia, a young skater. In the beginning, she lives with her mother, and comes to the Ice Arena to be coached by Trofimov (Natasha's father), because he is the best. Trofimov accept her. One evening she remains more on the ice to meet Romka (he was on guard in the Arena) and they skate together. After this, Romka takes a cab for her to go home.

At the Nationals, she takes third place.

After that, she leaves Trofimov, because she is jealous on Trofimov, because he likes Asia's mother.

She is very disappointed, because she thinks that Trofimov coaches her only for her mother. She wants to renounce skating, but her mother speaks with Privalov (another coach) and forces him to accept Asia. (in reality Privalov is Asia's father.)

Now, I think she knows that Privalov is her father, and for this leaves her mother.

I think in this moment Romka wants to help her.
