More news on the continuation of the show - this article was posted on the Ice Symphony forum by the new admin so I would think it would be accurate or
Brigantina wouldn't have posted it.

Valeria, in her guest book, when asked about the tour and the continuation of the show, says that the first broadcast will be March 8th and that they are
combining the tour with the filming of the show.
Okay, so they are having another gala show in Moscow (not in St. Petersburg again this time, though, according to Brigantina), and then they are continuing the competition for another two months, although the format will probably undergo some changes, if we can go by the hints, LOL. I have to say how happy I am that Brigantina and Ice Symphony are being so pro-active with information. It's nice, too, that they are keeping the fans updated with cast lists for each show. Laurie |

Okay, some more news of the continuation and the changes thereof from Channel One: (and if you can understand the following, you are a better man than I..
)
>> "Twelve pairs will participate in the project and are divided into two teams - six pairs," explains Ilya Averbukh. "Each pair of one team now will compete with the pair of another team. Thus, pairs compete with each other in the circle. Unique ring on the ice is obtained. Their scores advance according to the results of each such duel. To the pair which collects higher marks are added 2 final points; the second pair obtains 1 final point. After six stages, when pairs of each team are slain with the rivals from another, we will bring preliminary sum. Who of the participants collected more than final glasses, they will prove to be in the finale. In this case, the spectators can save their favorite pair, actively voting for it. So that if one pair does not collect a necessary for the finale quantity of glasses, it can design for support and aid from spectators." >> Got that?
Also, there will be some partner changes - Maxim Staviski will now be skating with Tatiana Arntgolts' sister, Olga. And Zhanna Friske will be partnered with Maxim Marinin. The reasons for the partner changes are listed as Tatiana not being well enough to continue and Vitaly having a contract in the U.S. he has to fulfill. Laurie |

Whyyyy do they have to make things so complicated, LOL? Trust me, producers, it's just as interesting if you keep it simple.

More on Alexei and Valeria's performance from Eva of the Quiet Haven forum.
Apparently, each pair competes directly with another pair - the pair Alexei and Valeria are competing with is Navka and Kolganov. Ooh! Tough one! I think both pairs ended up with 12.00 marks so it looks like audience votes probably determine the outcome. She says they skated with speed, three lifts, one of them brand-new, Valeria wearing a dark blue dress, Alexei in a gray suit with a necktie. I'll see what else I can find... Laurie |

Alexei and Valeria performed again at today's taping - they are taping shows in a row because Tatiana Tarasova will be leaving for Worlds.
According to Eva on the Quiet Haven forum, they performed to a gypsy number - marks were 12.00
