- The rules were changed at the last moment. Why do you think?
- In this year there was a very equal situation. An uncommon finale, you will agree - out of 19 pairs were left 12! The thanks to all who consider us a strong pair and show favorites. Yes, we are strong, but a pride of being special did not come into this experience. Here all the pairs are very strong. All grew during the time of the project.
- What for you was necessary to refuse during the project?
- Sleep. There simply was not sufficient time. I arrived for training after the play, tired, depleted, entirely without forces. Frequently the numbers are set for a day or two before the taping. In the fight with fatigue and stress helped Lesha's optimism. Although for him it was also not easy. On the final gala-concert, he skated with a high temperature, but nevertheless he continued to smile. It is necessary to smile and not to lose hope - this is important in sport, in the show, and in life.
- As for you, was it possible to find a common ground with Yagudin?
- Even our acquaintances told me about Lesha's complex nature. But we immediately agreed. We never quarrelled in the entire time of the project. I am generally in no way a person of conflict. Yes, and for what reason for us to quarrel? Music I selected, Lesha entrusted that to me. But then together we placed the dances. So that boldly I declare: Aleksey Yagudin - best partner, friend, and man!
- It is no secret that your mom - Elena Maslennikova - is a choreographer-producer of the project. Some consider that you work on the project by patronage, yes, even high marks were obtained for the same reason.
- What think "some" - to me is not important. I know that there was no patronage whatsoever. I was invited by Channel One because not long before the beginning of taping passed the series "Princess of the Circus" with my participation. Averbukh called me precisely because I was a face of the channel. For my mom, my participation became a surprise. She only asked me to be careful…
- And herself she did not follow!
- Mom obtained on the project a very serious injury - the break of a hip. I worried. During the day of her operation, I appeared on the ice.
- There was no desire to turn away from the show because of this situation?
- On the contrary, for me it was desirable to support my mom. I dedicated all our 6.0's to my mom. Immediately after the dance, I left for the hospital. Mom already proceeds with rehabilitation. Everything is good.

ICE AGE - WHAT IS AHEAD?

Producer and the chief coach of the project "Ice Age," Ilya Averbukh:
-We were filming the finals in an atmosphere of secrecy. The decision to continue the show came when we saw the results of viewer voting and understood that four pairs shared first place, second place - three pairs, third place - five pairs. I think this is a fair decision. So, in March of next year, the participants will continue their struggle.
