Well, of course I looked at the Skate America roster first since that's the GP I'm going to, LOL...
Highlights of the roster (for me Men: Evan Lysacek, Andrei Lutai, Tomas Verner Ladies: Sasha Cohen, Rachael Flatt, Yu-Na Kim, and a TBA (which I'm unrealistically but hopefully hoping will be Michelle, LOL) Dance: Delobel & Schoenfelder, Belbin & Agosto, Navarro & Bommentre Pairs: Shen & Zhao ( There are still a few TBAs on there so it will be interesting to see who the USFSA finally decides to place in those spots. There are also some newbies on the roster I'm not familiar with, but look forward to seeing, too. Laurie |

By the way, for those with a Mac like me, LOL, use Safari, not Firefox, and the rosters download easily.

Attention for Isabelle Delobel, she is going to give birth by September 5th, she will have 6 - 10 weeks of "leaves of motherhood" (I am unaware if
it is valid for a sportswoman)).

Hmm... I think I would like to merge the rosters of the first two Grand Prix!
In Paris I will get to see a great ladies competition, with Cohen, Kostner and Asada, and I know I'm going to enjoy Joubert vs. Verner. However, in Moscow I could watch Plushy wipe the floor with Chan's, um... you know.... Tempting, tempting.... Anna |

Gislaine, I think the leaves of motherhood only apply to people in regular jobs as it gives them protection from an employer who might not want to give them
that much time off work. We have the same type of maternity leave laws over here. But in Isabelle's case, it is entirely up to her and her doctors how much
time she wants to take off so I think she will gauge how much time she needs before starting with competitions. I'm hoping, of course, that she feels ready
for Skate America in mid November, LOL.
I'd love to see all the Grand Prix events, but funds allow me only one, and the closest one is the least expensive for me. Plus, I love Lake Placid so that made my decision easy. I have to agree, Anna, I am also entirely too gleeful that Big Mouth Chan will have to face Plushenko in Russia... Laurie |

I must agree with Anna's idea regarding the pitting of Plushchenko and Chan. Mary C. |
