For those watching the whole series and not just the Alexei bits, here's the most helpful cast list I've found. It doesn't include all the cast, especially the ones who dropped in later as the series progressed, but it's a good starting point.

Natalia (also referred to as Natasha) Trofimova (played by Ekaterina Guseva)
Figure skater. From childhood she is occupied with figure skating. Woman of straight line and honest in everything, including in love. She can withstand all in defiance, even against her father.

Violetta Konstantinovna (played by Ludmila Artemeva) - the aunt of Natalia
She lives in Trofimov's house from the day of death of her sister, she brought up Natasha and holds entire economy in her hands. She is devoted to family. In the house, she is mistress.

Roman Kozyrev (played by Aleksey Yagudin)

Article and photos from an interview with Alexander Abt where he talks about the filming of "Hot Ice," how it feels to play a villain, and specifically the big fight scene with Alexei (where they fought over Natasha). He says they joked and laughed about it, and he adds that his relationship with Alexei is generally excellent.

For those who missed it, the fight scene video was posted earlier in the thread. Poor Alexei - he has a lot of bad luck in this series: gets injured and hospitalized, operated on, coaching changes, girlfriend changes, wins titles, all the while looking gorgeous. Such a change from his normal life.
