I know who you mean, LOL. She used to post her reports on the SkateFans list, but I haven't seen them yet. I think she does them from the Eurosport
coverage. I'll keep an eye out!
I'll post the IceNetwork results page in the other thread. I'm not sure if there is an Ice Calc page, too, but I'll see if I can find one. Laurie |

I guess the men's short programs are winding up with only two skaters left to go. Looks like Kevin Van Der Perren is in contention for a medal if he does
well in the free skate - good for him after all his troubles.

Contesti had a fantastic Free Skate! He was ecstatic when it was over! Definitely a well-deserved medal for him.

Iam in Finland right now but didn't go to the competition unfortunately as i had not planned being back. Had to remember my password guess i should have returned here more often. Brian was ok but stumbled on the opening quad and had a few other errors such as a fall on a 3 lutz. He didnt have his usual fire at the end but its a new program. Contesti was great had never seen him, was not really fond of the program as it was more a show program but it was so interesting to see someone new. Van der perren had amazing jumps as usual but seems to be very slow and having the same music alexei did so well in his short before he retired well Van der Perren just didnt do the music any justice. |

forgot to add Ponsero was my favourite of the night and i haven't always though he was that strong in the past. Good job for him just too bad about the
short.

It's too bad you couldn't go, Klara. The place looked practically empty - it would have been nice to see more spectators there to support the skaters.

Its wonderful how fast they seem to put up clips from europeans. i had to wait awhile to watch Canadian's and iam sure i won't see many clips from US
nationals since if they are later put up they probably won't be up for long.

I was able to watch the last four free dances on live streaming video from Justin TV while on my lunch hour. Now I have to go back to work, LOL.
Forgot to add that I see Kostner was massively held up, as usual.

Missed the 3 lutz though as she popped it. lovely 3 loops and other 3 jumps but i didnt see a 3 flip. She looks like she has the speed of kostner. Good all around skater.Seems to be a bit of controversy about Kostner not getting points for 1 of her spins and loosing the title. Though she still won the free. |

I'm shallow, I admit it: I just love Carolina's dress, by Roberto Cavalli! I'm not alone in this, as the Italian commentators kept gushing about
the 5000 Swarovskis it has!
I have to say I was not too impressed by Lepisto. I did like Leonova though

But she is from Finland and the Euros were in Helsinki I like men's skate. Were 5-6 guys who jump quad!!! I think more than last year at World.!!!! Lizzy |

I love Galas, and I especially enjoyed this one. I have seen it on three different TV channels so far
 I "loved loved loved" Joubert's
exhibition program. He finally got it! Couldn't take my eyes off Kostner, but I realize this may be in part due to the music, which I adore... And of
course Kawaguchi and Smirnov were wonderful, once again. Smirnov had a minor fall, but I almost didn't notice. I decided they are currently my favourite
pair.
